International Women's Day 2020 - #ChooseToChallenge

We "Choose To Challenge" all organisations to take menopause seriously and implement menopause guidance to support menopausal employees to manage their symptoms at work.

Guidance that includes flexible working, reasonable adjustments and safe pathways to help menopausal employees be true to who they are without shame, embarrassment or ridicule .

Don't forget line managers when developing your menopause Guidance - they need to support to understand menopausal employees are going through biological, physical, and emotional changes. By demonstrating empathy and understanding they are letting their teams know that they take menopause seriously.

Are your managers equipped to have that menopause conversation? If not and you would like to find out more contact us here at Talking Menopause, we would be delighted to share our menopause managers' solutions with you.

Our Talking Menopause client survey tells us that 91% of women suggested there is little or no acknowledgement of menopause in the workplace with 70% feeling they have moderate to no confidence to discuss menopause at work.

Be, or continue to be, ahead of the menopause challenge and keep Talking Menopause this International Women’s Day in your workplace and let us know what you're doing!
